AMES, Iowa – The Big 12 Conference has announced the rescheduling of the Iowa State-Kansas men’s basketball to Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse. The game will be televised on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 16 before being postponed due to COVID-19 protocols in the Cyclone program.

Future schedule adjustments will be announced when available.

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Ashley Joens had 32 points and a season-high 16 rebounds, and her go-ahead layup with 10.2 seconds left helped No. 24 Iowa State get past shorthanded Oklahoma 64-63. The Cyclones (10-4, 6-1 Big 12 Conference) have won eight of their last nine, including a 75-71 victory over then sixth-ranked Baylor to snap the Bears’ 61-game home winning streak. Joens pulled the Cyclones to 63-62 with 21 seconds left and her game winner followed a Sooners’ turnover on a charging call. After an Oklahoma timeout, Navaeh Tot and Tatum Veitenheimer each missed shots to end it. Taylor Robertson scored 26 points for Oklahoma (4-6, 1-4), which only dressed eight players.

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State-Texas Tech men’s basketball game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 has been postponed as the Cyclone program continues its pause due to COVID-19 protocols.

The schools will work with the Big 12 Conference to reschedule the game.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The women’s basketball game between the University of Iowa and Rutgers University, scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m. (CT) in Piscataway, N.J., has been postponed by Rutgers due to positive coronavirus tests within the program.

The decision to pause and postpone was made jointly by the Rutgers Department of Athletics and its sports medicine staff in consultation with the Big Ten Conference.

Both institutions will work with the Conference office to identify potential rescheduling options later this season.

The Hawkeyes play Maryland on Thursday, Jan. 21 inside Xfinity Center in College Park, Maryland. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. (CT) on BTN.

Out of caution due to Wednesday’s inauguration activities in Washington, D. C., Iowa made the decision to not travel to Maryland, which was supported by the Big Ten Conference.

The institutions will work with the conference office to identify potential rescheduling options.

The Hawkeyes next scheduled contest is set for Thursday, Jan. 28 against Northwestern inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Tip time has yet to be announced.
