IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — An investigator who helped uncover the sexual exploitation of 400 boys by an Iowa basketball coach says victims can still come forward to share their information. Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation agent Ryan Kedley said Monday that state and federal investigators have attempted to contact all 400 known victims of former Iowa Barnstormers Coach Greg Stephen, which he called a massive undertaking. But he says some individuals who were victimized haven’t been identified or contacted.

Kedley says Stephen’s guilty pleas to sexual exploitation and pornography charges doesn’t mean the case is over and that anyone who wants to share information should call his office. Stephen acknowledged that he secretly recorded players showering, posed as a girl on social media to trick boys into sending him sexually explicit images, and recorded himself fondling some boys while they slept.

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports a Walnut man was arrested Friday evening on a Theft charge. 58-year old Russell Mohr was arrested for Theft in the 5th Degree, in connection with the theft of goods valued at slightly more than $16, from Avoca Super Foods. That same evening, 27-year old Aaron Gar Nelson, of Red Oak, was arrested at the Underwood Motel, for simple Domestic Assault with Injury, following an incident involving his girlfriend, who suffered apparent minor injuries. Authorities said also, 21-year old Antonio Saldana, of Council Bluffs, turned himself-in Friday, on a warrant for Violation of Probation.

43-year old David Page Mace, Jr., of Underwood, was arrested Friday night for OWI/2nd offense, following a traffic stop in Underwood. Mace was allegedly doing “burnouts” with his Ford truck at 3rd Street and Charles drive, in Underwood, when he was pulled over. 48-year old Eric Jon Mace, of Council Bluffs, was arrested early Saturday morning, for OWI/1st offense, following an investigation into an accident that happened at around 11:35-p.m. Friday, in the area of 235th and McPherson.

An investigation into a suspicious vehicle 3:30-a.m. Saturday in front of a bar in Hancock, resulted in the arrest of 25-year old Mark Francis Wilsey, of Bellevue, NE. His pickup was parked in front of the bar with its headlights on, long after the business closed. Wilsey was taken into custody for OWI/1st offense. And, a man from Cass County was arrested Sunday evening, following a traffic stop on a Cadillac Deville. 27-year old Jonathan Christian Pilgreen, of Griswold, was arrested for Driving While Revoked.

The Atlantic Police Department reports five arrests over the past week. On Sunday, 50-year old Mark Winston, of Atlantic, was arrested on a Cass County warrant for Theft in the 5th degree. On Saturday, 49-year old Kevin Canter, of Atlantic, was arrested for Burglary in the 3rd degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree. Last Friday, 32-year old Alissa Vanmeter, of Atlantic, was arrested for OWI/1st offense. And, on Thursday, 30-year old Justin Cooley, of Atlantic, was arrested for Trespass/2nd offense. Atlantic Police also arrested 36-year old Chad Wilcox, of Atlantic, Thursday, for Disorderly Conduct.

All subjects were transported to the Cass County Jail and booked-in.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office says a woman from Lorimor reported early Saturday morning, that someone damaged a window at her home located in the 1100 block of Yellow Rose Avenue. Once inside, a Bersa Thunder .380 pistol was stolen. The weapon has a pink grip. Also missing, was a.17-caliber Savage rifle. The loss from the damage and theft was estimated at $900.

The sheriff’s office said also, a 2007 Chevy Malibu driven by 18-year old Louis Lumbard, of Diagonal, went out of control and rolled into a ditch and through a fence off of Pole Road before ending-up back on its wheels. The accident happened at around 12:23-p.m. Saturday. Authorities say Lumbard lost control of the car when he took his eyes off the road to look into the east ditch. He was unable to correct the vehicles’ path in-time.  Damage from the incident amounted to $4,500. Lumbard was not injured, and there were no citations issued.

Glenwood Police report two arrests occurred over the weekend. On Saturday, 37-year old John Adams, of Glenwood, was arrested for Theft in the 5th Degree, on a Montgomery County warrant for Driving While Barred, and on a Pottawattamie County warrant for Parole Violation. Adams was being held in the Mills County Jail without bond.

On Sunday, 52-year old Belynda Daniels, of Hamburg, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Her cash or surety bond was set at $1,000. And, a Glenwood woman reported to police on Friday, that sometime between 2-p.m. and 10-p.m. Wednesday, someone struck the driver’s side sliding door on her 2016 Chrysler Town and County van. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked on the south side of the 100 block of 10th Street, in Glenwood. Damage to the van was estimated at $2,300.

(Radio Iowa) — Fort Dodge police are investigating the report of a double homicide. Officers were notified just after midnight this morning of shots being fired in the area of North 9th Street and Third Avenue North. When police arrived,they discovered the bodies of two men laying in the alleyway behind 910 Second Avenue North. Both men sustained gunshot wounds. The names of the two men are being withheld pending notification of family members. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Crime Scene Team is assisting Fort Dodge Police in the investigation. Police said that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident with no immediate threat to the public.

Officials in Cass County report curbside voting assistance is being offered at the Cass County Courthouse. The service is being provided to make voting easier for everyone. For more information, call the Cass County Auditor’s Office at 243-4570. And, if you requested an absentee ballot by mail please make sure you SIGN the envelope before returning it to the auditor’s office. They cannot count your ballot unless the envelope is signed by you.

IOWA FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A hospital in north-central Iowa says it’s going to stop delivering babies. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls announced last week that the doctor who performs most of the deliveries is leaving the hospital, so the deliveries will stop Nov. 23rd. The hospital says prenatal care will be provided by Iowa Falls providers, but late pregnancy appointments and deliveries will occur at partnership hospitals in neighboring communities, such as Mason City.

Hospital CEO Doug Morse says it’s difficult to find doctors willing to deliver babies in a rural setting with its attendance malpractice risk and call burdens. He says his hospital is one of eight rural Iowa hospitals stopping deliveries this year.

The City of Atlantic’s Personnel and Finance Committee is set to meet 5:30-p.m., today, in the Council’s Chambers at City Hall. On their agenda is consideration of:

• Options with regard to a dilapidated property at 301 Maple St.
• A Service Line proposal with Megan Roberts Agency.
• The Parks and Rec Board recommendation for Park Facility Reservation Fees.
• A Temporary Full-time position with the Street Dept.
• and, Consideration of Compensation and Benefits for the FY 2020 Budget and Union Negotiations.
