2 arrests, 1 hit-and-run property damage accident in Glenwood

Glenwood Police report two arrests occurred over the weekend. On Saturday, 37-year old John Adams, of Glenwood, was arrested for Theft in the 5th Degree, on a Montgomery County warrant for Driving While Barred, and on a Pottawattamie County warrant for Parole Violation. Adams was being held in the Mills County Jail without bond.

On Sunday, 52-year old Belynda Daniels, of Hamburg, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Her cash or surety bond was set at $1,000. And, a Glenwood woman reported to police on Friday, that sometime between 2-p.m. and 10-p.m. Wednesday, someone struck the driver’s side sliding door on her 2016 Chrysler Town and County van. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked on the south side of the 100 block of 10th Street, in Glenwood. Damage to the van was estimated at $2,300.
