The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports a Walnut man was arrested Friday evening on a Theft charge. 58-year old Russell Mohr was arrested for Theft in the 5th Degree, in connection with the theft of goods valued at slightly more than $16, from Avoca Super Foods. That same evening, 27-year old Aaron Gar Nelson, of Red Oak, was arrested at the Underwood Motel, for simple Domestic Assault with Injury, following an incident involving his girlfriend, who suffered apparent minor injuries. Authorities said also, 21-year old Antonio Saldana, of Council Bluffs, turned himself-in Friday, on a warrant for Violation of Probation.

43-year old David Page Mace, Jr., of Underwood, was arrested Friday night for OWI/2nd offense, following a traffic stop in Underwood. Mace was allegedly doing “burnouts” with his Ford truck at 3rd Street and Charles drive, in Underwood, when he was pulled over. 48-year old Eric Jon Mace, of Council Bluffs, was arrested early Saturday morning, for OWI/1st offense, following an investigation into an accident that happened at around 11:35-p.m. Friday, in the area of 235th and McPherson.

An investigation into a suspicious vehicle 3:30-a.m. Saturday in front of a bar in Hancock, resulted in the arrest of 25-year old Mark Francis Wilsey, of Bellevue, NE. His pickup was parked in front of the bar with its headlights on, long after the business closed. Wilsey was taken into custody for OWI/1st offense. And, a man from Cass County was arrested Sunday evening, following a traffic stop on a Cadillac Deville. 27-year old Jonathan Christian Pilgreen, of Griswold, was arrested for Driving While Revoked.
