DENVER (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t need quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ usual heroics to beat the Denver Broncos for the 10th consecutive time Sunday. Mahomes threw for just 200 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 43-16 win on a snowy, freezing day in Denver. But the Chiefs were never really threatened as they got touchdowns on special teams, defense and on the ground in taking a 24-9 halftime lead. The Chiefs forced four turnovers in winning for the sixth consecutive time in Denver. And Le’Veon Bell had a successful debut for Kansas City by running six times for 39 yards.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Pittsburgh is now the NFL’s only unbeaten team following Seattle’s 37-34 overtime loss at Arizona. Zane Gonzalez made a 48-yard field goal with 20 seconds left in OT after drilling a 44-yard field goal as regulation expired. The Seahawks led 34-24 until Christian Kirk caught an 8-yard touchdown pass with 2:28 left.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to win a battle of the AFC’s last two undefeated teams. Ben Roethlisberger (RAWTH’-lis-bur-gur) threw two touchdown passes to Diontae Johnson while the Steelers were building a 27-7 lead in a 27-24 win over the Titans in Tennessee. The Titans scored 17 unanswered points in the second half and were in position to force overtime until Stephen Gostkowski missed wide right from 45 yards with 14 seconds left.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Tom Brady threw for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers outscored the Oakland Raiders, 45-20. Brady’s final scoring strike moved him ahead of Drew Brees (breez) for the most in NFL history, hours after the Saints QB threw for a pair. Brady finished 33 for 45 for 369 yards for the 5-2 Bucs.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have a three-games-to-two lead in the World Series following a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Joc Pederson and Max Muncy hit solo homers to support Clayton Kershaw, who allowed two runs and five hits over 5 2/3 innings to pick up his second win of the series. Kershaw was helped out when Manuel Margot (mahn-WEHL’ mahr-GOH’) was thrown out trying to steal home.

Boyue had been on IR since suffering a shoulder injury in the season opener. Walker and Jones got hurt in Week 2. The Broncos also promoted two players off their practice squad. The Ohio State defense took most of the first half to figure out a way to contain slippery Cornhuskers quarterback Adrian Martinez, who marched the Huskers down for a touchdown in the opening 2 minutes of the game.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Phillip Brooks returned a pair of punts for touchdowns, Kansas State took advantage of an embarrassing day of special teams by its biggest rival, and the No. 20 Wildcats rolled to a 55-14 victory over Kansas on Saturday.
