Our overnight Low was 39. Last year on this date, the High in Atlantic was 48 and the low was 36. The Record High in Atlantic on this date was 90 in 1965. The Record Low was 24 in 1909.

Tonight: Cloudy w/showers likely before 7pm, then light rain. Low around 37. E/NE winds @ 10-20. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday: Cloudy & windy, w/rain likely through about 7am. High near 51. W/NW winds @ 15-35mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy & breezy, with a low around 38. West wind 15-25.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy w/a 30% chance of showers especially during the afternoon. High near 62.

A FROST ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM CDT THURSDAY.

* TEMPERATURES…Overnight lows are forecast between 29 and 35 degrees in most areas, with the warmer temperatures across western Iowa and extreme southeast Nebraska.

* IMPACTS…Sensitive outdoor vegetation may be damaged or killed if left unprotected.

* UNCERTAINTY…The most likely areas for widespread frost is west of a line from Seward to Fremont to Onawa, Iowa. Patchy frost is possible east of this line. Despite cold temperatures, winds may stay strong enough across western Iowa and extreme southeast Nebraska to prevent much frost formation.
