ADAIR, IOWA–September25, 2018–Owner Revolution Inc.(ORI, Owner Revolution),announced today the signing of a definitive agreement to sell substantially all of the operating assets and business of their wholly-owned subsidiary located in Adair, Iowa, Schafer Systems Inc., to Pollard Banknote Limited (Pollard Banknote), headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada. Upon completion of the transaction, the Adair facility will join Pollard Banknote’s team, focused on serving the needs of lotteries and charitable gaming organizations around the world.
The Schafer Systems brand will remain in place and the business will continue to operate out of the60,000 square foot facility that they have occupied for the past30yearsin Adair. Upon completion of the transaction, the Atlantic facility will become Elkhart Plastic’s sixth location in the United States for the supply of rotationally molded products and services to a wide array of customers across the country.
The Connect-A-Dock brand will remain in place while the Plastic Professionals will now become Elkhart Plastics of Iowa. Both businesses will continue to operate out of the 225,000 square foot facility that they have occupied for the past 14 years in Atlantic. RAYMOND ANTHONY SCHLEIMER, 78, of Panama died Tuesday, September 25th at Bergan Mercy Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial for RAYMOND ANTHONY SCHLEIMER will be held on Friday, September 28th at 11:00am at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.
Family will greet friends on Thursday, September 27th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the St. Mary’s Parish Center in Panama with a Wake Service to be held at 7:00pm that evening.
Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Panama at a later date.

The Adair County Auditor’s Office reports Absentee ballots for the November 6, 2018 General Election will be ready Monday, October 8, 2018. Office hours are from 8:00- a.m. to 4:30-p.m. Monday through Friday. You can request an absentee ballot by mail or in person at the Auditor’s Office.
LAWTON, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say a fire broke out at a school building in northwest Iowa about an hour after classes were done for the day.
The blaze was reported a little after 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Lawton-Bronson High School and Junior building. District Superintendent Randy Collins says the fire started in a rack of laptop computers inside the business classroom. No injuries were reported.
Collins says no classes will be held in the Lawton building Wednesday.
