The Iowa Association of Track Coaches recently announced their honorees for Coach of the Year and Atlantic’s Alan Jenkins received the top award in Boys Class 3A. Jenkins was named State Coach of the Year after the Trojans ran their way to a State Runner-Up finish in Des Moines.

The Trojans won 5 golds and tallied 8 medals in the best team performance at the State Meet in school history. We caught up with Coach Jenkins just after that great State Meet performance for a recap of the season and you can listen to that full interview below.
