Assistant Sports Director/On-Air Talent

KJAN Radio in Atlantic, Iowa is currently taking applications for the position of Assistant Sports Director/On-Air Talent.

We are a local radio station focused on bringing local events, including high school sports, to the area.  In addition to radio, we have a network of video channels that serve area schools which enhance our coverage.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience in sports play-by-play, video skills, interviewing and writing for our website/social media.  Also, the ability to handle a regular on-air shift and fill-in news duties.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary, talent fees for games broadcast, health insurance, fitness membership and vacation.

The position will be filled as soon as the right person walks through the door.
