CAROLE THRAEN, 80, of Harlan, died March 3, 2026, at the Hansen House. A Mass of Christian Burial for CAROLE THRAEN will be held 11-a.m. Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 3rd, from 5-until 7-p.m., with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Harlan Cemetery.

Her daughters – Stephanie Paul, of Omaha, NE; Prudy Kloewer (& Dan Travis), of Harlan.

Her brother – Dennis Grabill, of Harlan.

2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Thraen of Henderson, NV, and Gary (Julie) Thraen of Harlan; other relatives and many friends.
