RICHARD HENRY NELSON, 100, of Hiawatha (a native of the Elk Horn, IA area), died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at the Hospice House, in Hiawatha. Graveside services for RICHARD “Dick” NELSON will be held 10:30-a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Cremation Services in Cedar Rapids has the arrangements.

A luncheon will be held in the Elk Horn Lutheran Church basement, following the service.
