PHYLLIS L. BRUUN, 87, of Ankeny (Formerly of Audubon), died Friday, February 13, 2026, at CopperWood at Prairie Trail in Ankeny. A Public visitation with the family of PHYLLIS BRUUN will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00, on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon.

A graveside service will follow the visitation at Arlington Heights Cemetery in Audubon.

Memorials may be directed to the Phyllis Bruun Family. They will be designated at a later date and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025.

Her husband – Jens Bruun, of Ankeny.

Her daughter – Amy Bruun, of Grimes.

Her sons – James Bruun, of Council Bluffs, and Tom Bruun, of Ankeny.
