The 13th ranked Iowa Hawkeye women return to Big Ten action on Thursday night with a visit to Purdue. after a three game losing skid the Hawkeyes have posted wins over nationally ranked Washington and Nebraska. Coach Jan Jensen credits better defense.

The Hawkeyes are tied for third in the Big Ten at 11-3. Purdue is 14th in the league race at 4-10.

Jensen says the Hawkeyes won’t be taking the Boilermakers lightly.

A victory would set up a big game on Sunday, at home, against sixth ranked Michigan.
