No. 13 Iowa women beat Purdue 83-74

The 13th ranked Iowa Hawkeye women raced out to a 26 point second quarter lead and won at Purdue 83-74. Ava Heiden led the way with 21 points and Taylor Stremlow added 19 as the Hawkeyes improve to 12-3 in the Big Ten. Senior forward Hannah Stuelke missed the game with an injury.
That’s Iowa coach Jan Jensen. The Hawkeyes shot nearly 67 percent in the opening half before cooling off as Purdue tried to make a game of it.
