JEAN A. BIRELINE, 85, of Adair, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Exira Care Center in Exira. Memorial services for JEAN BIRELINE will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, Feb. 27 (2026), at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Adair. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Adair has the arrangements.

Visitation (with the family present) will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5-until 7-pm.

Burial at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery north of Adair will follow the Memorial Service.

Memorials can be made in her name and will be designated at a later date. Memorial contributions may be left at the funeral home in Atlantic, or mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home – PO Box 523 – Atlantic, IA 50022.

Her sister – Sandra Lundy, of Adair.

Her son – Steve (Tammy) Bireline, of Adair.

Her daughters – Linda (Kurk) Mackrill, and Lori Westergaard, all of Adair.

18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
