(Atlantic, Iowa) – Weather data for Atlantic during the month of January, 2026 (Compiled here at KJAN – the official National Weather Service reporting site), shows we were about 3-degrees warmer than normal for a high, at an average of 32 degrees, and nearly average for the Low at 8 degrees.
The warmest day last month was 62 on the 7th. Our coolest morning was -10 degrees on the 23rd.
Snowfall amounted to just six-tenths of an inch (0.6″). Rain and melted snowfall for the month came in at 1.18 inches, which was slightly more than one-third of an inch greater than average for January, in Atlantic.
