Drake was held to 25 second half points in a 66-61 loss at home to Southern Illinois. It was a seventh straight loss for the Bulldogs, who led by 13 points in the opening half.

That’s Drake coach Eric Henderson. Jalen Quinn led the Bulldogs with 23 but he was the only Bulldog in double figures. Junior guard Andrew Alia had six and says it has been a disappointing stretch for the Bulldogs.

Drake is 6-12 in the Valley and returns to action next Wednesday at Valparaiso.
