DONALD SCHEFFLER, 97, of Oakland, died Wed., Feb. 11, 2026, at Atlantic Specialty Care. Funeral services for DONALD SCHEFFLER will be held 11-a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at the Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 15th, from 5-until 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Hancock.

A luncheon at the Hancock United Methodist Church will follow the burial.

His sons – Jim Scheffler, of Hancock, and Mark (Toni) Scheffler, of Oakland.

His daughters – Jane (Gary) Mohr, of Bettendorf,  and Lisa Paulsen, of Omaha, NE.

10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
