Atlantic Girls Set To Host First Round Of Regional Basketball Tournament

After a 12-8 regular season, the Atlantic Trojans Girls Basketball team earned the right to host their first playoff game. They head into the Regional Tournament winning 4 of their last 5 games, which included three wins by double digits. The Trojans bring a balanced offensive attack that has three girls averaging over eight points a game. Leading scorer Katrina Williams also leads Atlantic in rebounding with 8 per game. The season is long, which means that many of the girls have been put in playoff type situations. Head Coach Dan Vargason sees this as one of the main strengths of his team.
