(Red Oak, IA ) – Police in Red Oak say a woman was arrested Friday evening, on an Assault charge. Authorities report officers arrested 26-year-old Shania Lynn Kelso, of Red Oak, on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault/1st offense. Kelso was taken into custody at around 5:30 p.m., in the 300 block of West Washington Street, in Red Oak.

She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held without bond, pending her initial appearance.
