Iowa men visit Oregon Sunday night

Winners of three straight, the Iowa Hawkeye men head to the Pacific Northwest for Sunday night’s game at Oregon. The Hawkeyes are 5-4 in the Big Ten while the injury riddled Ducks have lost seven straight. They are 1-9 in conference play. Iowa coach Ben McCollum is confident his team will not take Oregon lightly.
McCollum says the Hawkeyes need to get ready for Oregon’s switching defenses.
Tavion Banks has stepped up in the last three weeks to become the second leading scorer the Hawkeyes were looking for. In his last five games, Banks is averaging just over 16-and-a-half points.
McCollum says there is nothing special they can do to prepare for travel to the Pacific time zone.
