GERALDINE RUSSMAN, 89, of Council Bluffs, died Sunday, Jan. 25th, at the Risen Son Christian Village. A Mass of Christian Burial for GERALDINE RUSSMAN will be held 10-a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31,2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Neola. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday (Jan. 30), from 4-until 6-p.m., with a Wake Service at 6-p.m. on Friday.

Burial is in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.

Her life partner – Dennis Loland.

Her children – Ellen Holtz; Judy Griffin; Laurie (Tim) McNeil; James (Patricia) Russmann; Tom (Marita) Russmann, and Chris (Kristie) Russmann.

Her siblings – Joan (Terry) Holmes; Rosie (Denny) DeYoung; Alan (Diane) Hicks; Mary (Joe) McLaughlin; Paul Hicks, and Andy (Theresa) Hicks.

18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
