Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating a hit-and-run pickup truck

(Council Bluffs, IA) – The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating a vehicle believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier this month. On the department’s Facebook page, sheriff’s officials say that at around 8:25-p.m. on December  1st, Pott. County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a hit and run injury collision at the 59 mile marker of Interstate 29 northbound.
After a review of video footage, authorities said the vehicles pictured in their social media post  are of interest in connection with the investigation. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Ford Super Duty truck, based on vehicle parts left at the scene. The truck should have damage to the driver’s front, including an inoperable driver side headlight from the collision. The suspect vehicle continued north on Interstate 29 from Interstate 680.
