RICHARD KEPHART, 86, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.  Graveside services for RICHARD KEPHART will be held at 11-a.m. on November 18th (2025) at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter. Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the Greenfield American Legion Head-Endres Post No. 265 and V.F.W. Post No. 5357 and the Army Funeral Honor Guard.

Memorials:  May be directed to the Richard Kephart Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

RICHARD KEPHART is survived by:

His wife – Judy Kephart, of Greenfield.

His son – Richard Kephart, of Urbandale.

His daughters – Pamela Whigam, and Kathy Miller, both of Arizona.

His step-children: Don (Missy) McKean, Joe (Carey) McKean, Lisa (Geoff) McFarland, and David (Dixie) Moore, all of Iowa.

His sisters -Phyllis (Frank) Lane, and Kay (Dennis) Kellenberg, all of Greenfield.

16 grandchildren; Many great-grandchildren;  other relatives and friends.
