No. 13 Hawkeyes Fall to No. 24 Wisconsin in B1G Tournament Quarterfinals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The No. 13 University of Iowa women’s soccer team fell to No. 24 Wisconsin, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals at Folk Field. The Hawkeyes move to 11-4-4 on the season.
Wisconsin struck first in the 11th minute when Adee Boer found the back of the net to give the Badgers an early lead.
The Badgers carried a 1-0 advantage into halftime.
Wisconsin extended its lead in the 51st minute, as Brooke Allen found the back of the net to make it 2-0. The Badgers added a third goal in the 74th minute to push the margin to 3-0.
Iowa was unable to rally, falling by a 3-0 final.
