Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz does not feel his team is looking for the finish line as the Hawkeyes get ready to close the home season against Michigan State. The Hawkeyes are 6-4 and their slim playoff hopes were dealt a fatal blow after squandering a 14-point lead in a loss at USC.

Iowa’s four losses have been by a total of 15 points in what has become a season of “what ifs.”

Ferentz likes the way this team has handled adversity.

Ferentz says there is a chance the starting offensive line could be ready against the Spartans. The Hawkeyes lost three starters up front to injury in the loss at USC.
