The Iowa defense hopes to be better at crunch time as the 21st ranked Hawkeyes get ready to visit 17th ranked USC. Iowa is 6-3 and in all three losses the opponent has scored on its final drive, including last week’s 18-16 loss to Oregon.

That’s sophomore safety Zach Lutmer. The challenge for the defense this week will be slowing down a USC receiving corps that may be the nation’s best.
