Hawkeyes Land 4 on All-Big Ten Teams

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Four University of Iowa women’s soccer student-athletes earned All-Big Ten postseason recognition, the Big Ten Conference announced Tuesday.
Juniors Sofia Bush (MF) and Millie Greer (D) were both named Second Team All-Big Ten. Bush earned third team honors last season after being named to the All-Freshman Team in 2023. The Marion, Iowa native has started 18 games this season, registering a team-high six assists and adding one goal.
Greer earned second-team honors for the second straight year. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native has started all 19 games for the Hawkeyes, leading the team with 1,647 minutes played. She has scored three goals while anchoring an Iowa defense that has allowed just 1.11 goals per game and posted nine shutouts.
Freshmen Liana Tarasco (MF) and Elle Wildman (MF) were named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. Tarasco has started all 19 games, tallying four goals and two assists. Her 10 points rank second on the team. Wildman has contributed four assists and one goal, with her four assists ranking second among the Hawkeyes. Both were also recognized on the Top Drawer Soccer Midseason Top 100 Freshmen list. It marks just the third time in program history that multiple Hawkeyes have been named to the All-Freshman Team in the same season.
Graduate student Taylor Kane (GK) was named Iowa’s Sportsmanship Award honoree. Kane has appeared in eight games, posting five shutouts and a .795 save percentage. The Santa Barbara, California, native was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week earlier this season.
