A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE KJAN LISTENING AREA THIS MORNING…
THE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8-A.M. FOR Harrison, Shelby, Pottawattamie, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont and Page Counties. THE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10-A.M. FOR Cass, Adair, Adams, Audubon, Guthrie, Dallas, Madison, Ringgold, Taylor and Union Counties.
* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE…Much of central to southern Iowa.
* IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TODAY UNTIL MIDNIGHT, FOR Sac, Crawford, Carroll, Monona, Harrison, Shelby and Pottawattamie Counties. Winds of 20-to 45-mph can be expected; Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
