BEVERLY BARBARA KOHLES, 82, of Harlan, died Wed., Nov. 9, 2025, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan. A Mass of Christian Burial for BEVERLY KOHLES will be held 12:30-p.m. Friday, Nov. 21st, 2025, at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima in Portsmouth. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

A viewing for BEVERLY KOHLES will be held at St. Mary’s in Portsmouth, on Friday, from 11-a.m. until 12:30-p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, from 3:30-until 7:30-p.m, also at St. Mary’s,

Burial is in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.

BEVERLY KOHLES is survived by:

Her daughters – Lisa (Randy) Schomers, of Omaha, NE; Lori (Kevin) Mills of Harlan, and Mary Jo (John) Schaben, of Defiance.

Her son – Marvin (Jenny) Kohles, of Lenexa, KS.

Her sisters – Shirley (Bud) Chamberlain, and Lin Brinker, all of Harlan.

11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, her in-law’s,; other relatives and many friends.
