(Atlantic, Iowa) –   Weather data for Atlantic during the month of September, 2025 (Compiled here at KJAN – the official National Weather Service reporting site), shows we were warmer than normal for both the average High and Low. The average High last month was 81, compared to the norm of 76. The average Low was 53, compared to the norm of 51. The warmest day last month was on the 15th, when we topped out at 96 degrees. Our coolest mornings were on the 6th & 7th, when the thermometer bottomed-out at 38 degrees.

Rainfall for the month was significantly less than what would typically occur in Atlantic. We received 1.51-inches, which was a deficit of 2.3-inches.
