REX BARBER, 88, of Anita, died September 17, 2025, at the Heritage House, in Atlantic. His wife, JANELL [Claussen] BARBER, 85, of Anita, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, also at the Heritage House. A Celebration of Life service and luncheon to honor the lives of REX and JANELL BARBER will be held on Oct. 24th (2025) – additional details are pending. Roland Funeral Service in Atlantic is assisting the family.

A private family burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.

REX and JANELL BARBER are survived by:

Their sons – Thomas (Denise) Barber, Roy (Carol) Barber, Jack (Mitchell) Barber, and Dean Barber.

Rex’s sisters: Lola Peterson and Norma (Glenn) Hemphill; and Janell’s brother, Jim (Mary) Claussen.
