AMES, Iowa – Three unanswered goals flipped Friday’s game on its head, as Iowa State (4-6-2, 1-5 Big 12) fell to the Kansas Jayhawks (9-3-2, 3-3-0 Big 12) at the Cyclones Soccer Complex by a score of 3-1.
In its first home match in two weeks, Iowa State struck first as rookie Megan Walters beat Kansas keeper Sophie Dawe to put the Cyclones up 1-nil.
