Upper Iowa is on the road this weekend to take on a Michigan Tech team that is ranked 24th in division two. The Peacocks are 1-1 and this will close out a challenging nonconference schedule for coach Jason Hoskin’s team that saw them open with a loss at Drake.

Hoskins says a strength early has been the play of the defensive line and that unit will be counted on to contain Michigan Tech quarterback Alex Bueno, who has passed for 722 yards in a 3-0 start and also leads the Huskies in rushing.

Hoskins says Michigan Tech wants to be balanced anbd it will be about stopping the run game first.

The Peacocks will ride the passing arm of quarterback Darryl Overstreet Jr. He has passed for 580 yards and six touchdowns in two games.
