MERLE HANSEN, 98, of Brayton, died Monday, September 1, 2025, at Cass Health in Atlantic. Funeral services for MERLE HANSEN will be held at 11-a.m. on Monday, September 8th, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira.

Visitation with the family present will be held at the funeral home on Sept. 8th, from 9 am until the time of service.

Burial will be held following the service, at the Oakfield Cemetery near Brayton.  A luncheon will be held at the Brayton Town Hall following committal.
