AMES, Iowa – AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men stayed at No. 1 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

The Iowa State men also remained the top USTFCCCA Midwest regional team ahead of No. 2 Oklahoma State. The Cyclone women stayed at third in the USTFCCCA Midwest regional poll behind Oklahoma State and Minnesota.

Iowa State swept the Cyclone Preview team titles on August 29 while Betty Kipkore also claimed the women’s individual crown.

The Cyclones return to action next Friday, September 26 with the Gans Creek Classic. The meet provides ISU an opportunity to run on the 2026 NCAA Championship course. The men’s 8k race will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the women’s 6K to follow at 8:45 a.m. in Columbia, Missouri.
