Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Board announces departure of its Executive Director as part of a “Leadership transition”

(Atlantic, Iowa) – The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced that Bailey Smith is no longer employed with the organization as of September 15, 2025.
“The Board has taken steps to ensure continuity of operations and to keep the Chamber moving forward,” said Board President Anne Quist. “We remain committed to serving our members, strengthening the business community, and ensuring the Chamber continues to thrive.”
Chamber operations will continue under the leadership of Program Director Kelsey Beschorner, with support from the Board of Directors. The Chamber’s programs, events, and member services will continue without interruption, and the Board remains focused on supporting the growth and success of our local businesses.
Since 1941, the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce has worked on economic development and quality of life issues with the support of more than 270 members. The Board of Directors appreciates the continued support of its members as it continues its mission of promoting business success and community strength.
