Iowa State basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger says senior forward Joshua Jefferson will be available when workouts resume later this month. Jefferson missed the second half of summer drills with an injured wrist. Workouts conclude on Thursday.

Otzelberger says the time off will be beneficial for Jefferson, who suffered a knee injury at Saint Mary’s before transferring to ISU.

Otzelberger says practices have been competitive and he likes the depth on the team.

Otzelberger says junior forward Milan Momcilovic has made big strides this summer.

Otzelberger says summer is about establishing the practice habits it takes to be successful as a team.

The Cyclones return three starters from a team that finished 25-10 and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
