Iowa State will kick off the college football season on Saturday in Dublin, Ireland, when the 22nd ranked Cyclones play 17th ranked Kansas State. ISU enters the season with high hopes after posting a school record 11 wins and coach Matt Campbell says they will find out where they are at in a hurry.

Campbell says one of the keys will be handling adversity.

Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht says the Cyclones need to play at a high level from the outset.

The first game always has unknowns but having played the Wildcats in the regular season finale last season is a plus.

ISU has averaged 227 yards of rushing in winning the last two games in the series. Becht expects K-State to make adjustments.

K-State coach Chris Klieman says they will need to be much better against the Cyclone ground game.

Klieman says in-game adjustments will be crucial.
