IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa football senior Logan Jones has been named a USA Today Preseason Second Team All-American, it was announced Wednesday by the publication.

Jones, a 6-foot-3, 302-pound center, was also named to the Rimington, Lombardi and Outland Trophy Watch Lists this fall. He was also tabbed as preseason second-team All-America by Walter Camp and a third-team All-American by Athlon and Phil Steele earlier this month.

A season ago, the Council Bluffs, Iowa, native started 12 games where he earned first-team All-Big Ten and honorable mention All-America recognition from Phil Steele. He anchored an offensive line that allowed just 17 sacks and helped Iowa rush for 2,564 yards, the most since 2002.

The Hawkeyes kickoff the 2025 season against UAlbany on Aug. 30 inside Kinnick Stadium.  The sold-out game will kickoff at 5 p.m. (CT) and be televised on FS1.
