Iowa State set to leave for Ireland
August 20th, 2025 by Christian Adams
The Iowa State football team leaves Wednesday afternoon for Dublin, Ireland, as the 22nd ranked Cyclones get ready for Saturday’s game against 17th ranked Kansas State. ISU coach Matt Campbell says prepping for this trip began during winter workouts.
Campbell says a key is how the Cyclones handle the trip.
Campbell hopes to make the remainder of the week as normal as possible.
The Cyclones will practice after they arrive in Dublin on Thursday.
ISU tight end Gabe Burkle says they will not be treating it as a bowl trip.
