BENITA SCHILTZ, 104, of Earling, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial for BENITA SCHILTZ will be held 11-a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Joseph’s Church in Earling, is on Friday, Aug. 22nd, from 4:30-until 8-p.m., with a Catholic Daughters Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial is in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling.

Her sons – Tony (Helen) Schiltz, of Davenport; Gene (Marian) Schiltz, of Altoona, and Jim (Mel) Schiltz, of Bellevue, NE.

Her daughters – Joann (Tony) Allegretti, of San Jose, CA, and Mary (Delmer) Powell, of Omaha.

20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
