12 Cyclones Earn NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Twelve Cyclones received National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar Athlete honors, the organization announced following the conclusion of the 2024-25 academic year.
To collect the honor, a student-athlete must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher.
Athletes that earned honors from the 2025 Cyclone softball team were Angelina Allen, McKenna Andrews, Reagan Bartholomew, Ireland Buss, Jessie Clemons, Maddie Knowles, Sydney Malott, Ashley Minor, Isabelle Nosan, Victoria Prado, Lauren Schurman and Paige Zender.
Buss, Knowles, Nosan, Schurman and Zender were each recognized for the second straight season, while Allen, Andrews and Minor garnered the award for the third consecutive year.
The award, which has been issued since the 2013-14 season, recognizes the academic prowess of softball teams across the NFCA’s membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 2,565 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25. NCAA Division I followed with 2,544 and NCAA Division II with 2,179.
