Seventh ranked West Fork claimed its first ever win at the state softball tournament with a 7-1 victory over fifth ranked Durant in a class 2A quarterfinal. Preslee Dickman opened the scoring with a two run homer in the bottom of the third.

West Fork will play top ranked Van Meter in this (Wednesday) afternoon’s 2A semifinals. It is a rematch of a first round game last year won by Van Meter 10-0. Dickman on the rematch.
