Mills County Sheriff’s report, 7/9/25: Cass County woman arrested on Theft charges

(Glenwood, Iowa) – Sheriff’s officials in Mills County have released a report on arrests that took place between June 30th and July 6th:

July 6th: 26-year-old Dylan Brendon James Miedl, of Silver City, was arrested for Domestic Assault w/bodily Injury-1st offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor), and Child Endangerment (Serious Misdemeanor). His bond was set at $3,000; And, 30-year-old Jose Ignacio Cabrera Milan, of Omaha, was arrested on Interstate 29 in Mills County, for OWI/1st Offense ($1,000 bond).

Two people were arrested on the 4th of July, Mills County: 64-year-old Cinda Sue Carlson, of Shenandoah, was arrested near Hastings, for Possession of a Controlled Substance/2nd offense, and Poss. of drug paraphernalia. She posted a $2,300 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Aug. 6th; and, 34-year-old Mikel Ann Erickson, of Lewis, was arrested in Henderson, for (Class-D Felony) Theft in the 2nd Degree (Valued at $1,500 to $10,000). Her bond was set at $5,000. A preliminary hearing was set for July 15th.

On June 30th, 49-year-old Mindy Lea McKern, of Council Bluffs, was arrested in Glenwood, on two Class-D Felony counts of Burglary in the 3rd Degree. Her bond was set at $10,000.
