Iowa State Announces Fall Softball Schedule

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State coach Jamie Pinkerton announced the team’s 2025 fall schedule Wednesday morning. The Cyclones’ fall slate features eight contests, four of which are at the Cyclone Sports Complex.
The fall ball slate, which spans over three weeks, is set to begin on Wednesday, September 17, against DMACC at the CSC. ISU closes the opening week with a pair of home contests versus Kirkwood (9/20) and Iowa Central (9/21). All three contests will consist of 10 innings of play.
The Cyclones will round out September with the annual Big Four Classic. This fall, UNI will host the competition, as Iowa State will face Drake, UNI and Iowa in three consecutive days. The tournament starts with Drake, who the Cyclones will host on 9/26 before heading east to Cedar Falls to face the Panthers on Saturday, 9/27, before finishing the weekend with Iowa (9/28). All games in the Big Four Classic are set to run nine innings.
The 2025 fall ball slate concludes with a trip up I-35 as Iowa State heads to Minneapolis to face both North Dakota State and Minnesota on Oct. 4. Game times and length are yet to be determined.
All home matchups at the Cyclone Sports Complex are available to attend free of charge.
