Iowa offensive lineman Beau Stephens is hoping to have a big senior season for the Hawkeyes. The native of Blue Springs, Missouri started 12 games at left guard for an Iowa team that finished 8-5. Stephens felt his junior year was a big step for him.

Stephens says the offense feels much more comfortable heading into year two under offensive coordinator Tim Lester.

Stephens feels like they have a head start on next season because of it.

The Hawkeyes open the season at home on August 30th against the University of Albany.
