Spring car racing’s most popular series will be at the sport’s most famous track beginning Friday night with the first the first of two nights of World of Outlaws action at the Knoxville Raceway. John McCoy is the track’s race director and says it is the second of three appearances at the track this season for the outlaws.

McCoy says with two classes of racing the infield will be full.

McCoy says a lot of drivers will use the weekend to get track time to prepare for the Knoxville Nationals in August.
