ISU’s Crooks and TCU’s Miles Selected to 2025 USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup Team

Two Big 12 players were announced as part of the 12-person roster for the 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team following three days of trials. Iowa State’s Audi Crooks along with TCU’s Olivia Miles are representing the league. The roster was selected by the USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team Committee.

The Big 12 was one of three conferences with multiple players selected.

Crooks is set to make her competitive debut with USA Basketball while Miles played on the 2019 USA U16 Women’s National Team.

Miles was a Wooden Award All-America Team member along with earning second team AP and U.S. Basketball Writers Association All-America honors in 2024-25 while Crooks was an AP and USBWA Third Team All-America selection.

The 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team will open Group B with host nation Chile, followed by Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The full schedule is available here. The winner of the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup will earn a berth to the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup, set to be held in Berlin next summer.

Since the event’s inception in 1993, the United States has captured four AmeriCup gold medals, including titles in 2019 and 2021.
