In his fifth season in the NBA former Iowa State star Tyrese Haliburton has led the Indiana Pacers to the NBA Finals. The Pacers visit Oklahoma City for game one of the best-of-seven series on Thursday night and will be in search of their first NBA title.

Haliburton says the Pacers are relishing the role of underdog.

The Pacers go up against a Thunder team that posted an NBA best regular season record of 68-14.

In the postseason Haliburton nearly 19 points and just she of 10 assists for Pacers team that overcame a slow start in the regular season.

Indiana’s only other appearance in the NBA Finals was back in 2000 when they lost in six games to the Los Angeles Lakers.
